    asked some boys on the road to guide him to the well. The boys led him to the river and told him to get cured there. Immediately he touched the river water he said this is not the well. He again asked them to bring him to the well, they did so and immediately he touched the water he knew it was it. He then rubbed his eyes with the water. When he did so he was cured.
    There is water brought from this well to invalids who are unable to get out of their beds. It is especially brought to those who suffer from sore eyes. It is believed to have cured many of them.
    It is said it is not right to leave the well without leaving some little token as a mark of respect to the Saint. A piece of cloth, a bottle, or a cup without a handle is often left. My mother never heard of money being left at it.
