  1. Long long ago the old people had a lot of cures, and told them to their children so that is the way we got some of them. Some people say that if you cut up a frog in three pieces and cook it in milk or water it is a cure for toothaches; but not to eat but a certain part of the frog . There is a cure in a certain part of a ferret's tongue for the chincough. To creep under a red cows belly is a cure for wringworm. To drink asses' milk is another cure for chincough. There is a cure in a docketleaf for nettle burn. There is a cure
