    It is said that hundreds of years ago a crock of gold was hidden by a certain man about a half-a-mile from Mannin wood in a cave.
    It was hidden there by this man because he was afraid that it would be found by the crowd of soldiers who were raiding by night the country and on that account no body had any courage to dig for it.
