  1. There are a lot of weeds growing on the farm such as the "garabóg" that does a lot of harm to the crops, and sometimes prevents them from growing. It is said that these weeds only grow in poor land, and it is said that these weeds also make the land poor. There are some plants that are looked upon as been very lucky such as the four-leaf shamrock. There is a herb called the milk-weed, it is used for curing warts. This is the way it is used:
