    It is said that if anyone cut a fairy bush, they would loose the hand which they would cut it with. There is a fort in the townland of Coolnaha. It is said that it is a fairy fort. The people call this fort "the castleen", because there is a high fence of stone around it. There was a white cat seen in this fort and it is said that this cat was minding the fort.
