  1. I remember my grandfather telling me about a great storm, which occured about twenty years ago.
    It was a very fierce storm which occured in the Autumn of the year 1918.
    There was a considerable amount of damage done to corn and hay.
    There was a great thunder-storm about eight years ago which caused the death of many cattle and sheep, and knocked down some fine buildings.
