    There are three forges in the parish of Dunnamagin. One of the forges is situated in Kells, and the other in Baur Scuab, and another at Ballintobin cross road.
    The forge in Kells is owned by James Mac Bride. Baur Scuab is owned by Joseph Prendergast, and Ballintobin forge by James Buckley.
