  1. Just outside the town of Bailieboro in a subdivision of the town land of Tandergee called Tullycushlan is a large fairy fort. It is on a height, and is raised about 12 oe 14 feet above the level of the ground. It is circular in shape and is quite flat on top, with a trench or ditch all round. In wet weather this trench is full of water. There is a kesh or entrance in front with a tall tree growing at each side of it.
    The centre of the fort would be large enough to hold a dwelling house. It is probably the site of Tóin - ré - gaoith castle, one of the OReilly strongholds in East Breffni. The name Tullach Causleáin (Tullycushlan( is an indication of this
