Fasten strong twine to one of the sticks. Put a tassel of paper to the end of the stick. Take a hold of the twine, and let the kite into the air.
- The toy I made was a top. I got a spool, and pared one end of it to a point. Then I made a little whip to spin it with. The way I made the whip was I got a stick, and a piece of strong twine, thenI tied the twine to the stick, and spun it round. The top stayed up a long time, when I spun it.
