  1. Handsel Monday is said to be a lucky day, and if you receive money on that day you shall have money all the year round.
    All animals born on Whit Monday are said to be very hot tempered and is liable to kill someone before it is much older, also all children born on that day are said to have a bad temper throughout the days of their childhood and even when they grow up big.
    Some people say it is unlucky to move from one house to another on Friday and that where ever you go you will never have any good luck.
    The most popular days for curing calf scab, chicken pox and many other disceases are Saturday and Tuesday.
