  1. About thirty years ago a woman in Arklow named Mrs. Julia Hudson used to keep guests, and it was near Christmas and she made a Christmas pudding and bought a turkey.
    On Christmas day when all the men were at the table she told them who ever ate the most pudding would get the most turkey, so they all ate as much as they could and when they were finished they could not eat any turkey, so Mrs. Hudson was delighted because she did not like pudding.
