  1. We have a churn at home and it is about six years old. It has a handle in the side it is fastened with a piece of iron and one scrwe. We do have six pounds of butter a week in the summer and three in the winter. It is very hard to make butter in the summer for it is soft. If a person in when you are churning they usually take a dash at the churning. They say that it leave the weight of your self of butter in the churn.
