  1. Stephen Malone who used to live in Ballina had eye-water for curing sore eyes. he sued to make it himself and no one knew what he made it from. Many people got it from him.
    Get a gooseberry thorn and point it once every morning at the sore - eye for three mornings and then it would be cured.
    Cures For a Heart - burn.
    Eat a piece of a raw potato or drink bread soda in Milk.
