  1. Many years ago a certain man got married.
A few days afterwards he was met by a neighbour of his. The man said to him "why didn't you wish me joy". The other man said nothing but went his way.
At last he came to where a man was working hard to get two cows out of a drain, he had one already out and was pulling out the other. The man went up to him and said "I wish you joy" and the other man at once jumped up on the back and gave him a terrible beating. "Why didn't you say one out and my God pull the other out".
So the man again went on his away and at last met a man with one eye so he said to him "One out and may God pull the other out". The poor man at once flew into a rage and threw stones at him and sent him away all bruised and a broken face.
