  1. Cures for Chilblains
    Wash your feet in water that potatoes were boiled in or rub them with a raw onion or oil.
    Cures for Warts
    Make the sign of the cross on it with holy water every Friday for nine Friday's and then it will go away.
    Second:
    Get a black snail and rub it on them.
    Hang the snail on a thorn and when he dies the warts will disappear.
    Third: Rub it with washing-soda every morning
    Fourth: Cut a potato in seven pieces. Rub the wart with each piece seven times and then bless yourself.
    Fifth: Get two straws and settle them in the shape of a cross in a cart track. When they rot away the wart will also go.
    Sixth: Go to the well that cures warts in Killick Feehan on a Friday. Rub the water on them
