  1. A Song

    In Ballycumber's virgin plane.

    1 - In Ballycumber's virgin plane
Or in a place called Grogan
    There dwelled two old maids
    Named Poll and Nancy Hogan
Poll bought a sucking pig and it thrived like a wonder
Then Nancy bought another and you would not know them assunder.
2 - Two Blaguards stood on the road,
As the pigs were out a feeding
They cut the curly tails of Poll's
and sent it home all bleeding.
3- Poll stood up in open court
    and then began her story
Supposing your honour was a pig
and happened for to stray off
You would squeal and road like any boar
if the blaguards cut your tail off
