- On Monday and Thursday the cure is applied for wildfire, toothache, ringworm and yellow jaundice.
- They say that Trinity Sunday, the day previous, and the day following are "Cross Days".
- Friday is supposed to be a lucky day to start any work or move to a new house. It is also a lucky day to set eggs.
