  1. 1. To cure a sore throat put your left stocking if it is a silk one, around your neck after taking it off when going to bed.
    2. Another way is gargle your throat with hot water and salt.
    3. Honey will cure it when taken before going to bed.

    5. Wet wheaten meal in cold water and put it in a silk handkerchief and tie it round your neck. Then put a piece of dry cloth around the handkerchief.
