- In the month of February 1921 there was a big snow storm. There was over three feet of snow everywhere. Sheep and young lambs were lost because it was in the month of February when the young lambs were being born.In the year 1902 a severe storm blew. It took the roofs off sheds and houses. It knocked down several trees. The roads were blocked with trees that fell. In one house in the district there was a wake. The roof was blown off. Everything in the house was blown about but the candles were not quenched that was around the corpse.Collected by Sheila Boland (14) from Daniel (59) and Julia (55) her parents of Wood-of-O, Tullamore.
