  2. There was a gentleman, who lived in Aldertown years ago. He had no-one but a servant girl living with him. At that time the Great Island was surrounded with water.
    This gentleman had a great deal of money. One day he went out boating with his servant round the Island. He returned, but no account was ever got of the girl.
