  1. There is a yard next to our house it is supposed to be haunted. It is called "Fallon's Yard". Not very long ago some companions and I went in to the yard to play. It happened to be at night. There was an old car in there and we went in to it. The time was about ten-o-clock p.m. We decided to go home. As we came out we saw a white figure in front of us. One of my companions lifted up a stone. He flung it at the white figure. It did not strike anything at all. We decided to go over to the white figure. We got a shock of our lives when we went over, for there was nothing there at all. We were that much afraid that we ran as fast as out feet could carry us. I will never forget that exciting adventure. It should teach me a lesson for being out so late at night.
