  1. A little woman once lived in Cartonfree. She used to be brought away up to Lough Sheelin & transported across the Lough on a riddle. When she would come home she used to tell it to her neighbours, but they refused to belief her. They brought her & put her into the "Poor-house." But she was brought to Lough Sheelin & transported across the Lough in the riddle again, but instead of leaving her back at the poor-house she was left back at her own house.
