  1. One night Edward Flood's grandmother was seated beside the fire. It was late, & she was alone. Suddenly the door was opened & the house was filled with the "good people" She remained with them for a while darning stockings. Upon attempting to go to bed they got between her & the sleeping room door & prevented her from doing so. There was a settle-bed in the kitchen where some members of the family were already sleeping & it was there she had to go to bed.
They made stirabout & put the fire rousing & at dawn they vanished.
