   Magpies are fairly plentiful in our district. They do not migrate to any country. They build their nests in trees, but in our townland they have certain bushes in which they build every year. Magpies nest are made of thorny sticks, and they roof them overhead. Holes are left on the sides one opposite the other They lay eight fairly small eggs for about three weeks. Almost every bird
