    It was handed down for ages from old to young that there lived a Pagan around here. When he heard of Saint Patrick passing the way he cried aloud and Saint Patrick heard the cries. He came to him and asked why he wished to see him. The old man said he wanted to be baptised. Saint Patrick gave him the Sacrament and he died immediately in his arms.
    In the graveyard mentioned know on has been buried in it within the memory of the oldest person living in the parish.
