water for washing the feet is thrown out when the feet are washed. Boots are made and repaired locally. There is only one shoemaker in this parish by the name of John Early. Long ago there was a lot of shoemakers this parish. The reason why they change is, the people bought all their boots from the shop and the shoemakers got nothing to do. Then they changed their trade. Clogs were worn and made in this district.
