    a hundred years ago since anyone lived in it. There is supposed to be a dungeon in it. No one was ever put to death in it. There is supposed to be a tunnel going from it to an old graveyard that is not far from it. People would tell you that the castle will on the corpse of a red-headed woman when the funeral is going to the Cemetry. The castle was built very well. It was built over three hundred years and the walls are still standing. There was a big ditch around it one time but it is knocked down now. It is all overgrown with nettles and weeds. It is a very high castle.
    There is the ruins of an old church in the graveyard not far from the old castle. It is situated in Coolamber, in Westmeath, in the Barony of Moy Goosh. It is overgrown with ivy. It was a small little church. There is nothing standing now but the walls. It is a long time ago since it was used. It was supposed to have been burned down one hundred years ago.
