  2. About ninety years ago Lowtown house and lands were owned by a man named Bateman who also owned part of Coralstown. He went in for all kinds of sport, and he usually kept nine or ten race-horses. Bartie Flynn's farm was all in one field and was used as a schooling ground for them.
