  1. About fifty years ago a man named Patrick Monaghan who lived in Killucan used to make churns and keelers and baskets and noggins for eating porridge out of. He also used to make wooden spoons.
    There was a man named John Mooney who used to make candles and baskets and go around from house to house selling them. On fair days he used to go to Killucan and sell them.
