    I
    On Carrick hill I plied my
    quill and sat a while
    to write, in praises of this comely
    maid I mean for to erudite
    Her carriage neat and limbs complete like any of the ???
    And her nice abode stands on the road that lead to
    Sweet Lough Bawn
    II
    There is Dromone it stand alone
    An ancient village town there was no fairs
    nor markets there since Cromwell knocked
    it down,
    if the bonny lark from day
    to dark came whistling o'er the lawn
    and if it could speak with its small
    beak good morning sweet Lough Bawn
    III
    A round sweet Knockine they do incline
    and cross by sweet Loughlane and into Fore
    to join by more the wildgoose, duck and teal
    by the Fowlers gun they are all done and
