    1. Long ago the people had a cure for nearly every disease. they got a mullen plant and they boiled the leaves of the plant until they got all the juice out of it then they would drink the juice and that was a real cure for a cold.
    2. If a person got a sting of a nettle a docken leave would cure it.
    3. the real old cure for a cold was buttermilk with sugar and a lump of butter in it this drink was called whey. it used to be taken when they were going to bed in the night.
    4. If a person got of a wasp they put blue on it to cure it.
    5. If a person got a thorn in his finger he would put a piece of fat bacon on it and it would draw out the thorn.
    6. If a person had a sty in his eye they got a little
