    7. The cure for the pain in the ear was to get a roasted onion and to put it into the ear as hot as a person could bear it and it would cure it.
    8. If a person had a pain he took soda and ginger and water. He would get a quarter of a tablespoon full of soda and a quarter of ginger and a little water and mix them up together. They drank it going to bed and it cured the pain.
    9. The for a boil was to blend up sugar and soap and put it on the boil and stick a piece of rag over it and it cured it.
    10. Dandelion juice is good to drink for a weak heart and weak bones. It must be boiled on as little new milk as possible so that the juice would be strong. It grows
