    Long ago a farmer living at Kilcross sent his servant man with some sheep to another farm he had in Kilmaley.

    knew when alive,but who had been dead for years.They asked him would he come to a dance with them and he said he would, so he went and after a few minutes arrived at the dance house.The dancing was in full swing when they arrived there. After a while the the two men asked him would he dance a set and he said he would of course.
    They procured a fourth man and each got a partner to dance.He describes the lady as having no feeling .So they finished the set and sat down. One of the other men at the dance whispered to the two men who had invited the man to the dance and they stood up and asked the man would he like to go home.he said he would .They conveyed him to the spot where they had met him the evening before .On their way just outside the dance house there was a very wide trench that wasnt there when they were going in .The two men
