Pairc an Cabail - This field is so called because there are ruins of many houses in it.
An Splinnt -This hill is so called because it is bleak bare, and breezy.
All the fields etc are in the townland of Ballyduffmore, parish of Kilnamona, county of Clare, Barony of Inchiquin.
Ballyduffmore means the big black townland.
Agnes Power - Gort Fada -is so called because it is very long
Pairc an Ime -is so called because when the cows used to be put into the after grass, the milk used increase, and also the butter used increase
Pairc an Tobair -is so called because there is a spring well in the field
An Móinfhéar Mór -because it is bigger than the surrounding meadows.
Pairc na Laoigh -it is so called because it was in that field the calves were kept.
