Pairc na mBó - is so called because it is the field where the cows are kept. An Gort Árd - it was called this name because it was a high garden long ago. Móinfhéár Úird - because a man whose name was Howard lived there. Móinfhéarín Doimhin - because it is a very deep valley Bun Lobhtha - because it is a very dirty valley. Árdán Glas - because it was a very green high meadow.
