provide material for the Protestant Church. There are a great many old tombs covered with huge flags on which the names, ages, dates of birth, dates of deaths &c. are engraved. Beside the Church are the tombs of two Frs. Hennessy & the tomb of a Fr. Chambers. These tombs are over one hundred years old.
    Story
At the eastern side of the church-yard are two white-thorn bushes, planted there, by a strolling piper, to mark the grave of his wife, who died while in the district & was buried in Kilmurry.
