  1. There are several hidden treasures in Ireland. According to tradition the bog of Cullen holds much wealth. Cullen is situated about five miles west of Tipperary town. In the days of our enemies the Danes certain holy men called "Friars" had to flee with their lives, hiding all their treasures as they went along. They threw several casks of gold into the bog of Cullen and several attempts were made in later years to drain the bog. These attempts failed because the bog is entirely surrounded by rising ground.
    There was once a small trace of this gold found. An old woman named Biddy Moriarty, who was
