  1. "Where the Mulchair river flows"
I'll sing you a song of a lovely place
It's where I'd like to be
Where I would spend the time away
    In merriment and glee.
It's collins fair, I do declare and will
    there I will go
For to take a strole along the bank
    Where the Mulchair river flows.
It's often I think of the good old time
When in my youth and bloom
I hunted on the mountains high by
    Cappawhite and Doon
    Through Carrigbeg and Castletown, a
    place that I will know
    and Gurtavallas muddy land
    Where the Mulchair river flows.
And now it's night my comrades bright
    I bid you all adiew
But first to finish these few lines
One word I say to you.
Train up your youth to hunt and shoot,
And play the game of hunt the hare
