    One day he went to the market to buy a bonham bonive and he met a friend in town he delayed him with in town and he took a drop of whiskey and twas very late and he coming home. It was between 12 and one and he met a wizard - a little man "Good night Paddy Rourke" Said the little man Thats a nice little bonive you have I want to buy her off you Well indeed I am not going to give you my bonive I want to fatten her for my self I am but a poor man "The little man told him that he would be sorry when he would not give him the bonive His wife was in bed when he got home She used to be milking cows They had no house for the bonive He kept him inside in the kitchen in a corner inside in the rail so when the wife got up early in the morning to go to the cows she looked at the bonive and the bonive would frighten you twas all black hair O said she to Paddy "what kind of a bonive did you bring home what are
