  2. In the lands of Mr. Pat Brennan, Ballyloundash there once grew a bush which it is said belonged to the fairies. There was a man by the name of Johnny Hayes living in a cottage now the residence of Michael O' Keeffe, Rutagh. Johnny Hayes cut down the bush and burned it and he died in a couple of days after.
    The field where the bush stood is now called "White (?) field.
