  1. Once I heard a ghost story which frightened me very much. It was about a man who was very fond of playing cards. One night the man went out to play cards. When the clock struck twelve he was about to go home when some of his friends told him to wait a few minutes. He was playing until it was half past one. Then he went home.
    As he was walking along the road he saw a man standing in the middle of the road. He knew it was not a human being, so he ran back to his friend's house and slept there. After that he was never out late to play cards.
