    Tugtar an t-ainm sin air mar bhí fear gurb' é a leas ainm ná "Seán an Chnuich", ag dul abhaile go déanach san oidhche. Chonnaich sé sochraid mór ag dul treasna na páirche. Bhí capaill ann ach ní raibh aoinne á dtiomáint. Bhí eagla air agus ní raibh fhios aige cá raibh sé, ach d'fhan sé ann go raibh an mhaidean tagtha. Bhí sé ábalta dul abhaile ach bhí sé in a bhacach go lá a bháis.
