   To Thee, Oh, Blessed Joseph do we fly in our tribulation
   We also implore the help of thy most Holy Spouse,
   And we confidently crave thy patronage also.
   Through the charity which bound thee to the Immaculate Mother of God.
   Oh most mightly protector be propitious to us, and from Heaven, assist us in this our struggle with the power of darkness.
   And as once thou didst rescue the Child Jesus from deadly peril.
   So Now, protect Gods Holy Church for ever. Amen

   Oh Adorable Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ dying on the gallows tree for our lives, save me.
   Oh Holy Cross of Christ, ward off from me all things that are evil.
   Oh Holy Cross of Christ, ward off from me all sharp repeating words.
   Oh Holy Cross of Christ, protect me from my enemies
   Oh Holy Cross of Christ, guide me the right way to happiness.
