    county the burials here are less frequent. There were also two other burial places on the upper part of the Slieve Bloom.One in Shrahane, the other in Killeen. Nothing marks the place of the former but and old moate and mound. About 1924 as very little turf was procured owing to the season, a Mr,Joseph Thompson cut some fire wood from this moate and no end of ill luck overtook him in his property and stock and even his young family.His neighbours attributed all to hos tampering with the moate. Killeen has also fallen into disuse as a burial ground, not even anything to mark the place where
