    early morning by the "grave diggers"- these are working men employed round the place& they usually receive a pint of whiskey for their trouble. They don't usually take money.
    Burial - When the coffin is lowered into the grave these grave-diggers throw the stones & clay over it. When the grave is closed in, the priest recites the prayers over it. When these are finished the burial is over & people return home.
