  1. About 20 yrs. ago "Jack-stones" were played by the pupils of the school. At present "Jack-stones are not played - the name of this game is not even known.
    The games usually played are "Rounders"- each player stands on a stone & one in the middle without a stone. This one tries to get at one of the stones on the ring outside & all the players are sent moving. Whoever the one is who is left without a stone must stand in the centre.
    "Tig" & "Nuts in May" are other games played.
