  1. One time an old man and woman lived together in a little house and they had plenty of money. They owned a big mill and the more money they had the more they wanted. One day the man went out and saw a big stone beside the mill and he knew there was gold under it. He tried to lift it but he could only move it a little.
    He saw a lot of men passing but he would not ask them for help for fear he would have to give them some of the gold. He ran home for his wife to come and help him but his wife was very busy and she waited to finish her work. When they came back the mill had fell. That is what they got for their meaness.
