  1. Once upon a time there was a man who was very poor and wished to get some money. One day he hired a man to help him to knock a ditch. They were getting on very well till the master dug out an old boot with money in it.
    The master did not want the man to know that he found it so he lay down on the boot and said he was sick. He told the man to go in to his dinner and the master hid the boot and went in to his dinner and said he was alright.
