    Duine an aerach do bheadh é seo. Bhí leor ainm ages na daoine air, "Jerry Sideways" mar bhíodh sé i gcomhnaidhe ag siubhal i gcoinnibh na gaoithe. Téigheadh timcheall na duthaighe agus chaitheadh sé oidhche annso agus oidhche annsúd. Sár sgéalaidhe do bheadh é agusbhí an mheas ages na daoine air go mór mhór ages muinntear na tuaithe.Thugaidis roinnt míne & prátaí do agus uaireannta eile thugaidis cúpla ubh do agus dhéanadh sé cúpla pinginn ortha san sa mbaile nuair a thagadh sé an trid seo.
    Chuaidh sé isteach i siopa lá agus d'fiafruigh sé de fhear a t-siopa gloinne fuiscí do thabhairt do. Do thug. "An é seo Paddy, ten years old"? ar seisean le fear a't-siopa, "Sé 'ars an siopadoir", "Bhoil" arsa Diarmad "nach beag atá an diabhal cé go bhfuil sédeich mbliana d'aois".
