    Tá plúis in ár bhfeirm agus gort na plúise is ainm don pháirc. Aon lá fúair mo athair coineal agus cúaidh sé síos. Bhí alán seomra ann agus bhí cloca briste mar úrlár. Bhí sé n deic seómra síos agus bhí falla deanta tímpeall gac ceann dóibh [?]. Tá an lios ana fhada agus is minic a dhein fear iarreacht cun dul síos act theip air. Mar bhí an t-aer go t-olc agus gach úair ragadh an solas amac. Bhí fear ann agus cúaidh sé síos san lios mar cúla sé alán glór síos. Fúáie an fear abhí ann téad fada agus do tharraing sé an fear súas agus fúair an duine abhí sios breóite. Núair abhí sé láidir arís dimigh sé as an tír agus níor thánaig sé abhaile arís.
